If Rowling really cared about diversity I wouldn't be so annoyed but the truth is she makes up this bs and then retcons it the minute money is involved. Remember how she kept on saying Dumbledore's gay? Well not anymore or else she'll lose money from the Fantastic Beasts movies! How about instead of saying characters written 20 years ago are now black she adds actual PoC characters in the new movies? It can't be that hard seeing as they're set in 1920s New Orleans, but no she'll make everyone white and will then insist 10 years later, when no one reads her books, Newt was supposed to be a transgender woman from Thailand.
